Carrie Coe and Pamela Miller have been riding and training dressage since 1980. They and their students have won regional and national titles at every level from training through FEI. They created Seven Oaks Dressage and Seven Oaks farm in 1992, to share their passion for dressage and horses with folks in the San Francisco and Monterey bay areas.
Carrie has trained and ridden many horses from their first baby moments through Grand Prix. With the many Seven Oaks horses, she has been champion or reserve at almost every level of year-end and zone award. Carrie currently competes several of her students' horses, as well as Seven Oaks homebreds. Her degrees in psychology and education help her to translate her natural talent for dressage into a system that is easy for both humans and equines to understand. When she isn't riding, Carrie likes to swim, cook and read about quantum mechanics.
Pamela has also trained and ridden horses at all levels of dressage. She has placed in the top five at many USEF championships, as well as winning multiple USDF horse of the year awards. She currently competes Seven Oaks horses. Her experience teaching obscure Italian poetry allows her to have patience and a creative lecturing style, which makes the dressage lessons that she gives entertaining as well as informative. When she isn't riding, Pamela competes in trialthlons, plays with her dogs and watches "Third Rock from the Sun" re-runs.
Sonia has years of horse experience, from wrangling at a Dude ranch to riding her friend's FEI mount. At Seven Oaks, she rides almost everyone and has been showing Seven Oaks horses to great success, including a year-end championship and numerous high-points. Sonia has already proved to be a popular and valuable instructor.
Mary has ridden dressage longer than almost anyone in the Seven Oaks family. She understands animals (including the human ones) in a way that makes her the most compassionate trainer we have ever encountered. mary@sevenoaksfarm.com
Tara has been crazy about all animals, but especially horses, her entire life. She's indulging her passion with us. tara@sevenoaksfarm.com
